Indians travelling in Ho Chi Minh City may get a visa on arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport after applying online. Furthermore, Vietnam created an e-Visa programme for 82 countries, including India, in which Indians may apply for an E-visa online and get the e-Visa electronically.

Note: For Indians, Phu Quoc Island, one of the best destinations to visit in Vietnam, offers visa-free entrance for up to 30 days. This visa-free admission is solely available to Indians visiting Phu Quoc. Indian nationals who visit Phu Quoc for fewer than 30 days are eligible for visa exemption. 2/ Vietnam Visas for Indians to Enter Ho Chi Minh City in 2022

There are many sorts of Vietnam visas available that enable Indians to enter Ho Chi Minh City. For both tourism and commercial purposes, Indians may choose one of three visa types:

  • E-visa
  • Visa on arrival
  • Visa from an embassy

Tourist E-Visa is one of the most common forms of Vietnamese visa for Indians, and it is valid for 30 days (Single entry).

2.1/ Vietnam E-visa for Indians seeking admission into Ho Chi Minh City in 2022

The electronic visa, or e-Visa, is by far the easiest option for Indian people to get a Vietnamese visa. The e-Visa, which has been in effect since February 2017, is a kind of visa granted to foreigners by the Vietnamese Immigration Department that was designed to be approved via an electronic system. This kind of visa is exclusively provided for short-term stays to Vietnam for tourist, casual visits, short-term medical treatment, or short-term business. It is possible to apply for it online before travelling to Vietnam. Once the e-Visa is issued, Indians will get it through email; take a print of it to display at the airport.

The Vietnam E-visa for Indians may be used to enter Vietnam through international airports such as Tan Son Nhat (Ho Chi Minh city). Indian passport holders may enter Ho Chi Minh City freely with an E-visa.

When applying for a Vietnam E-visa online, Indians must provide the entrance port as “Tan Son Nhat airport – Ho Chi Minh city,” since the immigration officer will only allow Indians to enter Ho Chi Minh if the entry port specified in the E-visa is accurate.

This Vietnam e-Visa is valid for 30 days after arrival and is only good for one entry. Indians must renew their visas or leave Vietnam after the first 30 days of their visa.

Vietnamese visas are valid for 1-3 months. Because it is an internet application, the procedure may take place anywhere. There are two sorts of costs associated with Visa on Arrival: a service charge for getting an approval letter and a stamping fee payable in cash at the Vietnam airport.

Visa on arrival is accessible at Vietnam’s six international airports, including Tan Son Nhat in Ho Chi Minh City. Indians may apply online for a visa acceptance letter, which they can then use to get a visa at the “visa landing desk” in Ho Chi Minh City.
