To apply for a Vietnam tourist visa at the Vietnamese embassy/ consulate in Canada, you need to prepare some of the following documents:

  • Visa application form (available at embassy and consulate)
  • Two photos 3×4 cm
  • Original passport
  • Round-trip air ticket
  • Hotel booking
  • Vietnam travel itinerary

Visa processing time is about 5-7 working days. You should apply for a visa at least 10 days earlier than the departure date.

After receiving your visa application, the embassy officer will give you an appointment to get the results. Normally, Vietnam visa is quite easy to pass.
