There are some countries which citizens can enter Vietnam without visa. Each country has an agreement with the Vietnamese government, as a result, the time for visiting Vietnam with free-visa is different.

As of 2021, passport holders from 24 countries do not need to apply Vietnam visa for tourist purpose including United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Belarus, Japan, South Korea, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Russia, Finland, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Kyrgyzstan, Singapore, Brunei, Laos, Indonesia, Chile.

Egypt is not on the list of countries exempted from Vietnam visa, so Egypt citizens must have a visa to enter Vietnam.

How do Egypt citizens get Visa to Vietnam?

For Visa Vietnam, Egypt citizen can apply at the Embassy of Vietnam in Egypt or apply Visa on arrival.

1. Apply for Vietnam Visa at the Embassy of Vietnam in Egypt:

Applicants must prepare some necessary documents before coming to the Embassy, ​​including:

• Application form
• Original passport (must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Vietnam and still have at least two blank pages).
• Passport-size color photos (images must meet the following requirements: Pictures are captured in the last three months, the images are colored and are also captured on a white background, the image should show the full face without glasses).

Note: Applicants can be sure to obtain a visa before coming to Vietnam if applying at the embassy, but applicants must go to the Embassy of Vietnam personally, which takes a lot of time, especially in case of the embassy is far from home. 2. Visa upon arrival:

Visa on arrival is one of visas issued by the Vietnamese Immigration Department for foreigners intending to enter Vietnam (for both tourism and business purpose). This type of visa allows citizens of all countries in the world to apply with one month, three months, six months or twelve months with one-time entry or multiple entry.

For getting a Vietnam visa upon arrival, travelers need to get a visa approval letter first. This is the most important document proving that the applicants are allowed to receive Vietnam visa when they arrive the Vietnamese airports. If applicants do not have this letter, they cannot obtain visa when arriving, which also means that they cannot enter Vietnam. Applicants can submit application for this letter before entering Vietnam several months, or even some days before the departure date. Our recommendation is applying approval letter one month before departure date.

The applicants do not need to come to any place for applying approval letter because they can apply it online. Applicants just give us the basic personal information on the Internet including full name, gender, date of birth, nationality and other information.

However, in some special cases, applicants must attach the following documents to prove the tourism purpose:
